Masha’Allah, children are a source of delight and an adornment for the world granted by Allâh to their parents, they give comfort to the hearts, joy to the souls, and pleasure to the eyes.
Messenger (SAW) said:
"whoever takes care of two girls until they reach adulthood - he and I will come together on the Day of Resurrection (like this) - and he interlaced his two fingers"(Muslim)
“O Allah! make our children be pious leaders and obedience to you and make us among the grateful parents” Ameen
Ma sha Allah, she's absolutely adorable. May Allah ta'ala protect her.
Can she say "Allah" yet? :)
Your entry reminds me of what Sh. Muhammad Alshareef said during BoC. When he was memorizing Qur'an at his hifdh boarding school, for 2 YEARS, his mother would cry whenever there was mention of Sh. Muhammad, ie. her son. Despite the pain it caused her to stay away from her son, she still sent him away in order for him to gain knowledge that was essential. It really proves how much her priorites were in order.
The Sheikh mentioned this as an example of UNselfish love.
I wonder why babies, even older ones, like to stay on our laps when we are working on the computer. My 3 year old does the same and although I don't get to stop working all the time, I suggest we all should. They deserve our attention.
